Particulars:
This recording is from The Ophelias twelfth live performance. When asked if he had any memories of this particular performance, Medford said, "Oh yes, an unforgettable and packed show. At one point [2:10 of the track] you can hear me cracking up into my trumpet during my solo, reason being the unbelievable heaving chaos which was happening on the floor in front of us. Pogoing, moshing-in-place, full beer cups being thrown directly up into the air and showering down, wet and glowing faces! I glanced over at Keith Dion and his mouth was hanging open at what he was seeing and the whole thing was just so fun and funny! Total euphoric chaos wasn't the usual."

CLASH OF THE TITANS
[live]
In the Clash of the Titans no surprise will arise tonight.
All this feeling closes in it’s like I’m finally drawing a bead on life.
We cross the bridge to the city and my heartbeat picks up the time.
Can you feel it? Can you see it in my eyes that I’m treadin' on a fine line?!
It’s getting faster now, brothers of mine!
Let’s climb the tower now, brothers of mine!
In the glare of the moment we owned all of space and time.
Then the negative results were all dashed on the street behind.
Only you and I know how it feels to smash that borderline.
Can you feel it? Can you see it in my eyes that I’m treadin' on a fine line?!
It’s getting faster now, brothers of mine!
Let’s climb the tower now, brothers of mine!
In the glare of the moment we owned all of space and time.
And all the negative results were all dashed on the street behind.
Hey baby, only you and I know how it feels to smash that borderline. Wooo!
Can you feel it? Can you see it in my eyes that I’m treading on a fine line?
It’s getting faster now, brothers of mine!
Let’s climb the tower now, brothers of mine!
Faster now, brothers of mine!
Let’s climb the tower now, brothers of mine!!

It's a tough thing to choose a top track from a set that includes such exquisite gems as the mysterious folk-blues of "Red Boat," and Medford's beautiful rendition of "Janine." But it's the crystalline version of (the usually nervy) "the Big (Myopian)" that takes the cake in the end. Carl Salbacka
